Italys heroics have been rewarded this week, and there were impressive performances from New Zealand, Ireland and Japan as well. Ireland were unable to recreate history with another win over the All Blacks after beating them 40-29 in Chicago, but both sides were full value in Dublin with the All Blacks managing a 21-9 win.Elsewhere, Italy stunned the Springboks in Florence and Japan pushed Wales right to the end in Cardiff. There were plenty of influential individual performances, but who had the biggest impact? Have your say in our vote below. 15. Luke Morahan (Australia) Luke Morahan of Australia makes a break against France Morahan has been pushing his case for a starting spot for some time and took his opportunity against France in just his second start for the Wallabies. Wesley Fofana (France) Wesley Fofana scored a try that kept France in the game Contenders for this jersey were Italys Luke Mclean and Irelands Garry Ringrose, with the Irishman performing well out of his usual position when Robbie Henshaw left the field against the All Blacks.Fofana was superb for France, though, with some beautiful footwork and an eye for the gap. Israel Dagg (New Zealand) Malakai Fekitoa celebrates his try with Israel Dagg (right) Elliot Daly pushed hard in an unfamiliar position on the wing, but its Dagg who gets the nod this week for his running and play-making contribution in Dublin.Dagg, a natural full-back, came onto the wing to counter Irelands aerial game which they used so well in Chicago - and handled everything they kicked at him and countered brilliantly.10. Beauden Barrett (New Zealand) Beauden Barrett scored a try after breaching the Irish line George Ford and Bernard Foley were considered, but the recently crowned World Rugby Player of the Year was instrumental for the All Blacks against Joe Schmidts men.His pace had Irelands defence stretched and his game management kept tacklers on the back foot. Plenty of defensive effort as well from the Hurricanes No 10 which, along with Brodie Retallick, kept the Irish at bay.9. Will Genia (Australia) Will Genias decision-making contributed to the undoing of France It was a smart game from Genia who kept France guessing with his awareness and decision-making. Tadhg Furlong (Ireland) Tadhg Furlong made 10 carries for Ireland One of the weekends star performances from the Irish prop who made his mark on the All Blacks defence. NEWARK, N.J. -- New Jersey is bringing out the best in Taylor Hall, especially when it comes to game-winning goals.Hall scored 29 seconds into overtime and the Devils won for the second time in two home games, rallying to beat the Minnesota Wild 2-1 on Saturday night. The goal-starved Devils have had each of their five games decided by goal, and Hall has been the difference in their two wins. He had both goals in a 2-1 win over Anaheim this week and combined with former junior hockey teammate Adam Henrique for the winner that ended the Wilds three-game winning streak. Its fun to score any time, but certainly at home in overtime on a Saturday night where we have struggled to score, said Hall, who was acquired in a major trade with Edmonton in the offseason.Hall carried the puck into the Wild zone and dropped a pass after crisscrossing with Henrique. He then went to the net and took the return pass and beat Devan Dubnyk between the pads.It was a good play there, Henrique said. It just opened up, a little crisscross, and then they kind of bit, both guys over. Halls was open so I just tried to get the puck to him and he made a great play to end it.Dubnyk, who made 30 saves, said the play seemed to come out of nowhere. They werent flying or anything, he said. Hes (Hall) a dynamic player. I was able to get over there on him. He likes to rip it, but he had his head up and saw that I was on my feet and moving out at him and he snapped it real quick. After being stoned by Dubnyk on their first 26 shots, PA Parenteau tied it with 8:04 left in regulation. The right wing took a cross-ice pass from Mike Cammalleri and beat Dubnyk with a shot from above the right circle for his second goal of the season.Cory Schneider made 28 saves for the Devils. This feels good, but we cant get on a cycle of win one, lose one, win one, lose one, SSchneider said.ddddddddddddWe have to try to get a couple going, especially with a few (the next three) at home.Joel Eriksson Ek scored for Minnesota in his NHL debut. After helping force a turnover at the Devils blue line, the 19-year-old Swede -- Minnesotas first-round draft pick in 2015 -- rushed to the net and arrived just in time to poke the rebound of a Jason Zucker shot over Schneider a minute into the second period. It felt like the puck was going in in slow motion, Erikkson Ek said.Dubnyk was the difference for much of the game. He made a pad save on Beau Bennett in the second period while flat on his back.Schneider stopped a breakaway by Eric Staal early in the second period with Minnesota ahead 1-0.
