MEXICO CITY, Mexico -- Daniel Ricciardo says ex-teammate Sebastian Vettel went too far with some of his radio messages during the Mexican Grand Prix.Vettel was upset during the race after Ricciardos Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen skipped Turn 2 while defending position from the Ferrari four laps from the chequered flag. Verstappen was penalised for the move immediately after the race, promoting the Ferrari driver to third, but only after Vettel had delivered a series of expletive-ridden radio messages aimed at the 19-year-old Red Bull driver and race director Charlie Whiting.Ricciardo believes Vettels meltdown pushed the limits of what drivers should say on team radio and suspects the outburst was motivated by the the pressure he is feeling at Ferrari this year.I definitely sense hes been more frustrated this year, Ricciardo said. Hes shown it in the past that he can be quite emotional, but this year it seems to be a bit more.In the moment its easy just to press that radio button and say a whole load of things, but we all know that it can get broadcast.
