Diego Simeones side will be without the suspended Fernando Torres - who picked up a red card in the first leg after scoring jus Antworten

September, wow!Last month was a truly unforgettable one and when Tyson Fury announced that he was walking away from boxing, cursing the sport that made him a millionaire and retired three days into October, it only added to an extraordinary time. However, three hours later he said that he was only joking.Furys false retirement came less than two weeks after he tested positive for cocaine during a routine drug test and then withdrew from his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko, which was scheduled for Oct. 29 in Manchester. It was not even the most disturbing piece of news in September, just part of a long, long month in the British boxing business. It is too easy to forget Fury is just 28 and unbeaten in 25 fights. He could still be stripped of both his WBA and WBO heavyweight title belts, and face a ban from the British Boxing Board of Control, but it had looked as though he would leave the sport on his own selfish terms -- and it was disappointing for an hour or two. However, its hard to understand how anybody in the boxing business could applaud his departure and there was some celebrating and a lot of I told you so going on.The proper news arrived just before midnight last Friday when it was confirmed that Iron Mike Towell had died after losing -- his first loss in 13 fights -- in an eliminator for the British welterweight title. Towell was stopped in five rounds by Dale Evans on Thursday night in a fight at a hotel in Glasgow. He was 25 and the first boxer to die in a Scottish ring since October 1995. He was the first boxer to die in a British ring since 2013 and only the fifth to die in a British ring since 1986. However, there are no statistics that reduce the pain his loved ones are facing. The Towell death and the Fury anarchy did their best to steal the headlines from three relentless September weekends of world title fights when just under 80,000 people paid to watch British boxers battle against the odds. During June and July, when the trio of fights were first announced, it all seemed a little whimsical and I was convinced that one or more would collapse. I was, thankfully, wrong. It started with Gennady Golovkin defending his title in front of 19,000 at the O2 in London against Kell Brook. It was a brutal fight, an unexpected slugfest that ended in round five when Dominic Ingle, in Brooks corner, rescued his fighter. Brook had gained too much weight and will return, so he claims, to welterweight, a full 13-pounds lighter. Brook suffered an injury to his orbital bone and had surgery two weeks later when the swelling had gone down. Kells surgeon went up through his gum, his front teeth, moved an eye to one side and then sorted out the fracture, said Ingle. Brook, amazingly, was back in the gym before the month had ended. The following week 51,400 watched Liam Smith lose his WBO light-middleweight title in round nine to Saul Canelo Alvarez in Texas. Smith was down three times and still fighting at the end. He is angry that he got caught with the final sickening left hook, which landed with finality under his right elbow and sent him down for the full count in round nine. The fight was going how I wanted it to go, he said.To complete the trio of nearly nights, the Manchester Arena did all that it could to help Anthony Crolla retain his WBA lightweight title against the Venezuelan fighting magician Jorge Linares. It was not enough and after 12 fantastic rounds Linares was the new champion and at a third weight. Crolla was exhausted, close to the limits of collapse when it was over.October will be busy, but there was something different about September 2016. The three defeated headliners will be back. And so, I suspect at some point, will be Fury, who in many ways was the months biggest loser. Dikembe Mutombo Jersey . -- James Young couldnt wait to apply those tweaks to his jump shot, and the first one he made against UT Arlington told him it could be a good night. Will Barton Jersey . -- The Sacramento Kings are set to become the first major professional sports franchise to accept Bitcoin virtual currency for ticket and merchandise purchases. http://www.nuggetsprostore.com/kids-allen-iverson-nuggets-jersey/ .Y. - General manager Billy King says the Brooklyn Nets are looking to add a big man and confirmed the team worked out centre Jason Collins, who would become the first openly gay active NBA player if signed. Alex English Nuggets Jersey . Kyle Denbrook, a soccer player from Saint Marys University, took the CIS male athlete of the week honour. Stanley, a fourth-year business administration student from Charlottetown, scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Dalhousie on Friday and tallied again in a 1-0 win over Saint Marys on Sunday. Nikola Jokic Nuggets Jersey . After a first half in which he thought "the lid was on the basket," the Toronto Raptors coach watched his squad mount a second half surge to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers 98-91.Atletico Madrid will look to take advantage of Barcelonas poor form when they attempt to overturn a 2-1 deficit in the Champions League quarter-finals. Luis Enriques side lead 2-1 on aggregate going into Wednesdays match at the Vicente Calderon, but have shown they are not invincible after defeats against Real Sociedad and Real Madrid in the last fortnight.Barcelonas consecutive league defeats have boosted Atleticos chances of winning the Spanish title, and also may have boosted confidence in their camp ahead of Wednesdays European tie. Diego Simeones side will be without the suspended Fernando Torres - who picked up a red card in the first leg after scoring just 10 minutes earlier.Luis Suarez pulled Barcelona level before scoring again to give them the advantage, but Torres is confident his side could have beaten the Spanish giants with 11 men on the field.Speaking to El Larguero, he said: I am sure that with 11 we would have won at the Nou Camp.I am convinced that the second yellow is not a card, I just felt a mixture of hopelessness and frustration. Diego Simeone is hoping to beat Barcelona on Wednesday night Team newsBarcelona will miss defender Thomas Vermaelen and midfielder Rafinha, who are both nursing injures. The former picked up a calf problem in training this week, while the latter strained a muscle in the defeat by Real Sociedad at the weekend.Torres is the main loss for Atletico, who list Thiago as their only other definite absentee. Jose Gimenez and Stefan Savic returned to training this week, and will face late fitness tests ahead of the match.Opta statsBarcelona are in excellent form against Atletico Madrid, having beaten them in their last seven matches in all competitions.Interestingly, all three encounters between Atletico and Barca this season have all followed the same template: Atletico score first and Barcelona win 2-1.Luis Enriques side have progressed to the Champions League semi-finals in seven of the last eight campaigns, the only exception coming in 2013/14 when they weere knocked out in the quarter-finals by…Atletico Madrid.dddddddddddd Barcelonas Luis Suarez celebrates after scoring in the first leg Atletico have kept a clean sheet in 12 of their last 14 Champions League matches at the Calderón.Barcelona are the only club still unbeaten in the Champions League this season. They have won 18 of their 22 games in the competition since last season (D2 L2), scoring in all 22 games.Charlie Nicholas predictionThe problem for Atletico, a bit like Man City, is knowing how to approach the game. Theyre not a natural attacking side and Diego Simeone will be thinking a 1-0 victory is their best chance of going through.Theyll sit in and be patient and look to hit Barca on the counter-attack. Fernando Torres is obviously suspended but their main threat is Antoine Griezmann, who is a fantastic little footballer and has the pace to hurt them. However, I see one of the three amigos really turning up. Luis Suarez will be chomping at the bit, pardon the expression, after being banned at the weekend, but I fancy Neymar, who Atletico just love kicking lumps out of, to do the business.Charlie predicts: 1-1 and Neymar to score first (30/1 with Sky Bet) Luis Enriques side have lost back-to-back La Liga matches BettingBarcelona are Sky Bets 6/5 favourites for the victory on Wednesday night, with Atletico up against odds of 9/4 to win and 11/4 to qualify for the semi-finals.Luis Enriques men currently head Sky Bets Champions League outright at 11/8 with Atletico up against odds of 18/1 to lift the trophy.Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez share favouritism in the first goalscorer betting at 4/1 closely followed by Neymar at 11/2, while Antoine Griezmann is rated the hosts main threat at 5/1.Follow Atletico Madrid v Barcelona with our live blog on skysports.com and the Sky Sports apps.
