CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The Cleveland Indians have placed closer Chris Perez on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder soreness, one day after he left their game at Boston in the ninth inning. Cleveland recalled left-hander Nick Hagadone from Triple-A Columbus. He joined the Indians in Cincinnati, where they were scheduled to open a two-game series Monday. Perez is 2-1 with a 4.32 ERA and six saves in 16 2-3 innings over 17 appearances. He was scheduled to be examined and have an MRI in Cleveland on Monday.
