LONDON -- The Premier Leagues most unpredictable title race produced another surprise on Saturday as Chelsea lost at Crystal Palace for the first time since 1990. Air Max 270 Baratas . Despite the 1-0 collapse after Chelsea captain John Terry headed Joel Wards cross into his own goal at the start of the second half, Jose Mourinhos side remains top as Manchester City was held to a 1-1 draw at Arsenal. "We depend too much on other results," Mourinho said, writing off his teams title prospect. "When you depend a little its possible, when you depend a lot, I dont think its possible. "We depend now too much. I dont think now we can win the league." Liverpool, perhaps? Brendan Rodgers side is a point behind Chelsea and will go top with a victory over Tottenham on Sunday. The points tally, though, is deceptive. Although City is third and two points behind Chelsea, the 2012 champions have two games in hand. The one certainty is the defending champions wont be keeping hold of the trophy, with Manchester United still in seventh despite by coming from behind to beat Aston Villa 4-1. Southampton, a place behind United but six points adrift, produced a resounding 4-0 victory over Newcastle. In a meeting of relegation-threatened teams, both West Bromwich Albion and Cardiff scored in stoppage time as they drew 3-3. Stokes impressive form continued with Peter Odemwingie clinching a 1-0 victory over Hull, the teams fourth success in five matches. Swansea climbed above Hull into 13th by ending a six-game winless run in the league. Jonathan de Guzmans clinical double and Wayne Routledges goal produced a 3-0 victory over fellow struggler Norwich. In the trophy chase, Arsenals concern will be its return of two points from its last three games -- even if the spirited fight back against City offered hope for the title run-in. With Arsenal still reeling from a demoralizing 6-0 loss at Chelsea last weekend, David Silva completed a counter-attack to put City in front in the 18th minute. But conceding early made Arsenal more assertive and Mathieu Flamini turned Lukas Podolskis cross into the net to level eight minutes into the second half. At Old Trafford, the start of the game had fans looking to the sky when a much-publicized plane flew overhead with a banner emblazoned with "Wrong One - Moyes Out." Just one person, who said he is a United fan, has claimed responsibility for the stunt with no supporters groups backing the protest. "The support inside Old Trafford has been terrific and if ever there was a show of support for their football club and for their team, it was today," Moyes said. But supporters faith in Moyes was tested when Ashley Westwood put Aston Villa in front in the 13th minute by sending a free kick dipping into the net. Villas lead only lasted seven minutes before Rooney sent a header from Shinji Kagawas cross into the net. And after Leandro Bacuna fouled Juan Mata, Rooney put United in front from the penalty spot before half time. The lead was extended in the 57th when Juan Mata scored his first United goal since joining from Chelsea in January for 37.1 million pounds (then $61 million), and substitute Javier Hernandez wrapped up the victory in stoppage time. On the south-coast, Southamptons victory will have offered England coach Roy Hodgson some encouragement for the World Cup -- with three different English scores. Jay Rodriguez put Southampton in front just before half time and netted the fourth in the 89th after Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana scored. A dazzling display -- almost as eye catching as their performance on the field. Ian Desmond tied a career high with five hits, including a two-run homer, and Doug Fister threw effectively into the sixth to help the Nationals beat the sinking Colorado Rockies 7-2 on Monday night. They were in quite a festive mood, too, as they took over sole possession in the NL East with Atlantas loss. "Anytime we win, its a great day," Fister said as he explained the light show. "We want to make sure we get that winning feeling." The 6-foot-8 Fister (9-2) -- all "elbows and knees" as Charlie Blackmon described him -- allowed nine hits before being pulled with two outs in the sixth after running into trouble. Desmond had four singles -- including one off the arm of reliever LaTroy Hawkins in the ninth -- to go with his 17th homer of the season. His approach at the plate is quite simple: "I just look for the ball and swing as hard as I can." The last time Desmond had five hits in a game was Sept. 15, 2011, at the New York Mets. "Kind of the way its been going for me lately," Desmond said. Franklin Morales (5-5) didnt pitch all that bad, except for one inning. He surrendered all four of his runs -- three earned -- in the fourth. "Other than that, he threw the ball well," Rockies manager Walt Weiss said. Ben Paulsen had two hits and drove in a run in his major league debut for the Rockies, whove lost six straight and fell into a tie with Texas for the worst mark in the majors (40-59). Fister was cruising along until the sixth when the Rockies rallied for two runs on RBI singles from Nolan Arenado and Paulsen to make it 4-2. With the bases loaded and two outs, Nationals manager Matt Williams summoned Aaron Barrett from the bullpen to face pinch hitter Brandon Barnes. Barrett struck out Barnes with a slider in the dirt. "That was kind of, in my eyes, the turning point in the game," Desmond said. The Rockies had a little bit of a scare in that inning when Carlos Gonzallez was tagged out trying to slide into third base. Air Max 270 Baratas España. He stayed down on the dirt for several minutes, clutching both wrists after jamming them into the ground. Gonzalez had surgery on his left index finger earlier this season and missed more than a month. He stayed in the game, but had a scrape on his right arm. "I dont know what else can happen this year," Gonzalez said. Washington padded its lead in the seventh on an RBI single from Wilson Ramos. Desmond later scored on a wild pitch. Colorado was missing several big bats from its lineup as Troy Tulowitzki missed a second straight game with a sore left thigh. Earlier in the day, Justin Morneau was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained neck. Taking Morneaus place at first was Paulsen, who was called up from Triple-A Colorado Springs. Hes the ninth different player to make his debut with the team in 2014. Paulsen lined a single to left in his first plate appearance. After Fister received the ball on the mound, he tossed it to a bat boy as a keepsake for Paulsen. Washington finally solved Morales in the fourth, scoring four times. Desmond gave Fister all the run support the right-hander would require with a two-run homer to left. Danny Espinosa drove in another run with a double and later scored when Morales tried to pick off Fister at first and threw the ball down the right-field line. Blackmon led off the first with a double, but Fister managed to escape. Fister struck out Gonzalez with a 79-mph changeup to end the inning. "You know you have to keep the ball down," Fister said. "Thats something we focused on a lot tonight." NOTES: Williams called OF Bryce Harpers day off "a one-day thing." Harper entered as a pinch hitter in the seventh and struck out, then briefly argued with the home-plate umpire over whether he foul tipped the pitch. Williams pulled Harper away. ... RHP Jordan Zimmermann (6-5), who left his last start with a cramp in his right biceps, will start Tuesday. The Rockies will throw LHP Yohan Flande (0-2). ...
