CHICAGO -- Derrick Rose had 16 points before leaving in the fourth quarter with a right hamstring injury, and the Chicago Bulls pulled away from the Cleveland Cavaliers for a 96-81 victory on Monday night. Under Armour Cheap Shoes . Rose grimaced after he drove down the lane for a twisting layup with 3:39 left. He remained in the game for a short time before he was pulled for Kirk Hinrich, and a trainer then attended to the 2011 NBA MVP at the end of the bench. "Its just a minor sprain," Rose said. "Nothing bad." Rose will be re-evaluated on Tuesday, and he said he thought he would be able to play Friday night at Toronto. Carlos Boozer scored 17 points and reserve Mike Dunleavy Jr. added a season-high 16 for Chicago, which went 24 for 26 at the free-throw line. Luol Deng finished with 12 points. Kyrie Irving had 16 points for Cleveland, but was 5 for 19 from the field in his first game against Rose. The Cavaliers committed 20 turnovers, leading to 29 points for the Bulls. "When we hit adversity tonight we didnt handle it well," Cleveland coach Mike Brown said. "They took us out of what we wanted to do." Chicago opened a 13-point lead on Boozers fadeaway jumper with 8:08 left in the third, but Cleveland slowly whittled away at the advantage. Irving made a jumper for his first field goal and Tyler Zeller had a rebound basket in his first action of the game, trimming the Bulls lead to 64-60 entering the final period. It was a one-point game early in the fourth before the Bulls started to take control. Dunleavy had seven points during a 9-1 run that made it 87-76 with 2:10 remaining. Dunleavy then had a steal and a pass ahead to Deng for a fast-break dunk that extended the lead to 91-77 lead with 1:07 left. "We had some chances to break it open, early on, each quarter," Dunleavy said. "They just hung in there. Fortunately in the fourth, we were able to pull away." Cavaliers centre Andrew Bynum had 11 points and six rebounds in his first start since April 22, 2012, for the Lakers against Oklahoma City. Anderson Varejao was in the lineup about a half-hour before the game, but it was Bynum on the floor for the tip-off. Bynum missed all of last season with Philadelphia due to surgery on both knees and signed with Cleveland in July. The 7-footer played 21 minutes in his longest stint on the court since joining the Cavs. Rose was selected No. 1 overall in the 2008 draft and won the NBA Rookie of the Year award. Irving pulled off the same feat in 2012, but the dynamic point guards had never played against each other in the pros. Rose missed all of last season following left knee surgery, and Irving also has dealt with some injuries. Irvings 39 points in a 127-125 double-overtime victory against Philadelphia on Saturday night only increased the hype for his first matchup with Rose, but their initial meeting was pretty much a dud, at least as far the individual duel was concerned. Irving was scoreless until he made two free throws with 1:36 left in the first half and missed his first six shots. Rose also had a slow start, going 3 for 9 in the first half for six points. At least Irving took care of the ball. Cleveland committed 12 turnovers in an ugly first half, leading to 17 points for Chicago. Waiters had four of the miscues, helping the Bulls to a 45-36 lead at the break. NOTES: Cleveland dropped to 0-5 on the road. ... Chicago won three of four games against Cleveland last season. The Bulls have won the season series against the Cavs for three straight years. ... Duke plays Kansas on Tuesday night at the United Center, so Blue Devils coach Mike Krzyzewski brought his team to the game. Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau also worked with Krzyzewski with USA Basketball. "Hes a fantastic leader. Just terrific," Thibodeau said. "To achieve the way hes achieved throughout his career, thats the mark of greatness." Arsene Wenger reportedly wants to convert the player into an attacking force, much like he did with Robin Van Persie. http://www.underarmourcheapsale.com/ . Hoefl-Rieschs exit — from the downhill course into safety nets, then airlifted from the slope by helicopter — left Anna Fenninger of Austria favourite to win her first giant crystal trophy one month after becoming an Olympic champion.ALLEN PARK, Mich. - The Detroit Lions won a game in December for the first time since 2011. Theyre also on track for their first playoff appearance since that season. Were focusing on this week and this week only and not worrying about anything else, centre Dominic Raiola said. Thats a good thing around here, it really is. Its a new day.The Lions beat Tampa Bay 34-17 on Sunday. If they win out — beating Minnesota, Chicago and Green Bay to close the regular season — theyll win the NFC North, although a victory at Lambeau Field in the finale certainly wont come easy.If Detroit beats just the struggling Vikings and Bears in the next two weeks, it could earn a wild-card spot. There are a few causes for concern, though, especially since coach Jim Caldwell has a reputation for running a disciplined team.During his first stint as an NFL head coach, with Indianapolis from 2009-11, all three of his teams finished among the least penalized in the league, each averaging 4.7 penalties or fewer per game. This year, Caldwells Lions rank 24th, averaging 7.4 penalties per game. Thats the Lions highest mark since 2011, when they committed nearly eight per game. That is an area we have to improve, plain and simple, Caldwell said. I am more interested in winning. But I know one thing: If you have too many (penalties), they lead to problems, they lead to deficiencies, they lead to losses. That is an area we have to get straightened away.In Sundays win over Tampa Bay, the Lions had nine penalties for 122 yards. Caldwell mentioned that some teams have had great success while posting high penalty rates, such as the 2013 Seaattle Seahawks, who led the league in flags and still won the Super Bowl. Under Armour Shoes On Sale. .But that is not Caldwells philosophy. We talk about being somewhere in the top five in fewest penalties, Caldwell said. Were not there. Were working to get there. When were not there, Im not satisfied. ... We wont get there overnight. It takes time. It takes an understanding and development. Its not just training, but educating as well.Caldwell pointed to Detroits 34-17 win over Chicago on Thanksgiving, in which the team had five penalties for 38 yards, as a sign of improvement.Thats closer to where wed like it, he said. Its still two too high. We want one on offence, one on defence, one in the kicking game, maximum. Thats what were looking for.Caldwell also addressed the absence of running back Theo Riddick from the Tampa Bay game.(Reggie Bush) is back, Caldwell said. When Reggie is out, Theo takes on a number of the same roles. When Reggie is back, theres only one spot for one guy. We have talked about (wide receiver) Ryan Broyles. The same thing holds true there. There is only so many spots for guys to occupy. ... We try to spread it around as much as possible, but you cant use everybody.NOTES: Tight end Joseph Fauria has battled injuries this season. He hobbled off the field in the first quarter against Tampa Bay but came back to make a 10-yard touchdown catch. Well see whats going to happen with him, Caldwell said. Theres a few guys that are always, after a ballgame, a little worse for wear. Well see in the next couple days or so.___AP NFL websites: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFL China NFL Jerseys Cheap Nike NFL Jerseys NFL Jerseys Cheap Wholesale NFL Jerseys Cheap Basketball Jerseys Online Stitched Hockey Jerseys Wholesale Baseball Jerseys Football Jerseys Outlet College Jerseys For Sale Cheap MLB Jerseys Wholesale Soccer Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys For Sale Wholesale NFL Jerseys ' ' '
