Rangers pair Martyn Waghorn and Lee Wallace and Hibernian duo Jason Cummings and John McGinn have been nominated for the PFA Scotland Championship Player of the Year award. Club captain Wallace and striker Waghorn have played pivotal roles in guiding Rangers to the Championship title and promotion to the top flight in Scotland in manager Mark Warburtons first year in charge.For most of the season their closest title challengers were Hibs, for whom Cummings and McGinn have been stand-out performers, with the Edinburgh side still aiming to gain promotion through the play-offs.
