GLASGOW, Scotland -- Russian sport is a long way from convincing the world that it has cleaned up its act, the World Anti-Doping Agency declared Sunday, pointing to the states failure to accept it was behind a doping program, its continued obstruction of testing, and a series of cyberattacks. It would be better if they were maybe a little bit more contrite, WADA President Craig Reedie told The Associated Press after being re-elected unopposed for a second term.Russia is seeking readmission to WADA a year after being declared non-compliant with the doping code, following the publication of a report detailing widespread cheating in track and field.Fresh evidence of state-backed doping cover-ups was revealed by investigators ahead of the Rio de Janeiro Games, although WADAs recommendation of a blanket ban on Russias Olympic team was rejected by the IOC.Russias integrity is set to be challenged again when Canadian law professor Richard McLarens final doping report is published on Dec. 9, with the focus on winter sports.Reedie said Russia still has to get the rest of the world to believe that they have reformed and this (doping) wont happen again. So there is much work to be done.At Sundays Foundation Board meeting, WADA officials outlined how Russia continues to frustrate anti-doping officials by denying access to so-called closed cities where athletes are training and also to a sealed-off laboratory in Moscow that contains samples sought by sporting federations. The public criticism was delivered in front of Russian President Vladimir Putins anti-doping troubleshooter, Vitaly Smirnov, the former Soviet sports minister now heading Russias state-backed anti-doping commission.Russia has never had a state-sponsored system of doping, Smirnov responded defiantly.Vitaly Mutko, who was recently promoted from sports minister to deputy prime minister, was banned from attending the Rio Olympics after being accused by McLaren of ordering the cover-up of a failed drug test by a foreign soccer player.A WADA presentation on Sunday flagged up claims by Mutko that McLarens report was falsified and threats to prosecute those assisting the investigators. One of Mutkos deputies at the sports ministry, Yuri Nagornykh, was ousted on Putins orders after McLaren said he helped to orchestrate cover-ups of hundreds of drug tests. But Smirnov said Nagornykh was not a member of the government because he was deputy minister, maintaining that only ministers are members of the government.Russias unflinching denial of state involvement was rebutted by WADA, with Reedie endorsing clear evidence of collision between the laboratory and the ministry from McLarens investigation.Reedie does, however, believe there is a willingness to resolve the problems. And he will not insist on a full acceptance of guilt at government level as an absolute condition of Russias anti-doping body being cleared by WADA.It would be a great shame if they couldnt be compliant because they couldnt find a way of dealing with closed cities, Reedie said, referring to the areas where the Russian military restricts access. Maybe athletes shouldnt go there. Also straining relations are the cyberattacks on WADAs databases, which the agency attributes to Russia espionage groups -- as they appeared designed to raise doubts about the integrity of sports stars from Western nations.Records of Therapeutic Use Exemptions, which allow athletes to use otherwise-banned drugs because of a verified medical need, were leaked by a hacking group known as Fancy Bears. This doesnt make international acceptance of Russian improvement any easier if this goes on, Reedie said of the hacking. While disclosing that hackers are still trying to obtain logins and passwords, WADA said it would continue to oppose the publication of athletes medical information. The agency said 143 TUEs were granted before or during the Rio Games, with a handful of the 11,303 competing athletes requiring more than one.The system works perfectly, Reedie said, as the TUEs are allocated and agreed by responsible people in sport.WADA will remain under the leadership of the 75-year-old Reedie for the next three years, despite elements of the Olympic world appearing uneasy with the agencys attacks on Russia. Association of National Olympic Committees President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah had wanted a neutral chair to take over from Reedie, who was supported by the International Olympic Committee. The IOC congratulated Reedie on Sunday and said it welcomed his commitment ... to work towards the appointment of a neutral WADA President.Reedie responded: I have always been (neutral). I will continue to be, and behave, as independently as I can. Jarrod Dyson Jersey . CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Roberto Aguayos shaky rookie season got a big lift Monday night. The rookie made up for missing two earlier field goals by converting a 38-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the Carolina Panthers 17-14 on Monday night.Aguayo, the most accurate kicker in NCAA history, had clanked a 33-yard field goal attempt off the right upright and missed wide left from 46 yards that would have given the Bucs the lead with 3:38 left in the game. He was just 3 of 7 on the season before the winning kick.Obviously you get a little angry when you miss them, Agauyo said. You cant dwell on it or you won be ready for the next one. When asked how comfortable he was with the field position on the final kick, Bucs coach Dirk Koetter replied, I wasnt comfortable. We couldnt get close enough.Jameis Winston was 18 of 30 for 219 yards and threw a TD pass to Mike Evans . He also led a 66-yard drive to get the Buccaneers (2-3) into field goal range. A costly 15-yard facemask penalty on Kony Ealy hurt the Panthers along the way.Jacquizz Rodgers ran for 101 yards on 30 carries in place of the injured Doug Martin. The Panthers turned the ball over four times, three of those by Derek Anderson, who was filling in for the concussed Cam Newton. We moved the ball when we wanted to and had a lot of good things happen, but we had bad plays at the wrong times, Anderson said. The most costly turnover came late in the fourth quarter with the game tied at 14 and the Panthers having a first-and-goal at the Tampa Bay 2. Anderson inexplicably threw into double coverage in the right corner of the end zone and was intercepted by Brent Grimes. If I had it back I would have thrown it away, Anderson said. That was a difference maker. The Panthers ruined a memorable night from Greg Olsen, who had a career-high 181 yards receiving on nine catches. Cameron Artis-Payne ran for two touchdowns for the Panthers.Carolina is now 1-4 after reaching the Supper Bowl last season.ddddddddddddhe Panthers, who have won three straight NFC South titles, are now three full games behind the Atlanta Falcons.Weve got a laundry list of things that didnt go our way, Olsen said. The reality is, in this league, you make your own luck. You make your own fate. You cant sit around and hope the ball bounced your way. Right now, its not, but thats just the nature of this league. It goes in flows. Theres times where it seems like everything you do is right, the ball bounces your way, but thats not the case right now for us. Weve got to make our own luck, because nobodys feeling sorry for us. Thats just the reality right now.TURNOVER PRONE: The Panthers turned the ball over just 19 times last season en route to the Super Bowl. This year they already have 14 turnovers in the first five games.RIVERBOAT RON: With his team trailing 6-0, Panthers coach Ron Rivera lived up to his Riverboat Ron moniker when he went for it on fourth-and-goal from the Bucs 1-yard line. Artis-Payne dove into the end zone to give Carolina its first lead of the game.BUCS UP FRONT: The Bucs were without starters -- Gerald McCoy (calf) and Clinton McDonald (hamstring) and defensive end Robert Ayers (ankle) -- out with injuries.NO LEAGUE MVP: Newton was not on the sideline after sustaining a concussion last week against the Falcons. The Panthers visit the Saints next week before getting a bye. Its unclear if the reigning league MVP will be ready to go.OLSEN MOVES UP: Olsen moved past Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow for eight all-time in yards receiving among NFL tight ends.BY THE NUMBERS: The Bucs ran 20 plays to Carolinas three in the first quarter. Anderson didnt attempt a pass in the opening quarter as the Bucs controlled the ball for more than 13 minutes.---AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP-NFL Cheap Jerseys Store Cheap NFL T-shirts Wholesale Nike NFL Jerseys China NFL Jerseys White Cheap NFL Jerseys Camo Wholesale Jerseys China NFL Jerseys Outlet Cheap Jerseys Wholesale China Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Hoodies Camo China NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Wholesale Cheap NFL Jerseys Camo NFL Jerseys China ' ' '
