MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- Ryan Tannehill stood on the sideline in the final minutes, wiping his red eyes and accepting sympathetic hugs from his Miami Dolphins teammates even as they pulled out a sloppy victory over Arizona.Tannehill limped out of the game in the third quarter with a knee injury that will likely end his season, leaving Matt Moore to lead the late drive that led to a field goal as time ran out for a 26-23 victory on Sunday.Coach Adam Gase said the Dolphins fear Tannehill tore his ACL, which would sideline him for the rest of the season.Doesnt look good, Gase said. Weve got to go to the next man up, just like every other position. The Dolphins led 21-9 when Tannehill left, and the seldom-used Moore failed to lead Miami to a first down in his first three series.I was thinking, `Man, I havent done this in a long time, Moore said. After the Cardinals mounted touchdown drives of 99 and 50 yards to tie the game, Miami forced a punt to start at the Arizona 47 with 1:29 left. Moore threw a 12-yard completion to Kenny Stills for a first down, and threw long to Stills for 29 yards to set up a 21-yard field goal by Andrew Franks on the final play.Tannehill went 15 for 20 for 195 yards and three touchdowns. Afterward he was on crutches in the locker room and didnt talk to reporters.Hes a huge part of this team, and will be going forward, Moore said. The Dolphins (8-5) won for the seventh time in the past eight games and helped their bid to end an eight-year playoff drought. But theyll likely have to do it with Moore, who has 25 career starts but none since Tannehill was drafted in 2012.We have a lot of confidence in him, receiver Jarvis Landry said. Hes a gunslinger. Hes a savvy vet.The injury-depleted Cardinals (5-7-1) fell further behind in the race for the final NFC wild-card berth. We knew we had to win out to compete for a playoff spot, receiver Larry Fitzgerald said, and to not be able to come out of here with a win hurts.ILLEGAL HIT?Tannehill was hurt when hit around the legs by defensive tackle Calais Campbell as he released a completion. It looked like it was illegal to me, said Dolphins left tackle Branden Albert, who was beaten on the play by Campbell. Its football, Gase said. Things happen.LOTS OF MISTAKESFrequent heavy rain resulted in a sloppy game, including four turnovers by Arizona -- all in the first 20 minutes -- and three by Miami. The Dolphins overcame 14 penalties for 118 yards, and Arizona had seven for 54. In addition, the Cardinals Chander Catanzaro missed a field-goal attempt and two extra points, with one blocked PAT returned for a 2-point conversion.INJURIESThe Cardinals defense was hard hit, with LB Deone Buchanan (ankle), CB Marcus Cooper (back), and S Tyvon Branch (groin) all sidelined. T D.J. Humphries was evaluated for a concussion. We had guys going down left and right, Arians said.SPUTTERING CARDINALSArizonas Carson Palmer went 18 for 33 for 145 yards with two interceptions and lost fumble on a bobbled snap. David Johnson was held to 80 yards rushing and 41 receiving. Fitzgerald had only three catches for 12 yards.Even so, the Cardinals made a late charge. They drove the length of the field for a touchdown, helped by three Miami penalties, to cut the deficit to 21-15 midway through the fourth quarter. But Jordan Phillips blocked Catanzaros extra-point kick, and Walt Aikens scooped up the ball and scored. The Cardinals forced a punt, and Palmer hit J.J. Nelson for the touchdown, then connected with Johnson for a tying 2-point conversion.Nelson ran 56 yards untouched for Arizonas first score on an end-around.UGLY PASSTannehill lost the handle on a screen pass and the ball skittered backward for a 21-yard loss before rolling out of bounds.UP NEXTThe Dolphins play Saturday at the New York Jets and will likely be without Tannehill, who has started every game in his five NFL seasons. The Cardinals are at home Sunday against New Orleans.---For more NFL coverage: www.pro32.ap.org and http://twitter.com/AP-NFL---Follow Steven Wine on Twitter: http://twitter.com/Steve-Wine. After finishing a promising third on her Ascot debut at the start of the month, the daughter of Dubawi raised her game to win the Listed Height Of Fashion Stakes at Goodwood, a race won by the brilliant Snow Fairy before she secured Oaks glory six years ago.Appleby said: She had a quiet week after Goodwood, as we said she would, and shes in good form. She did a routine piece of work this morning and we were very happy with her, so she will be supplemented for the Oaks.Shes a nice filly, shes done nothing wrong and if we can run into a place Ill be delighted.Skiffle was the only supplementary entry and is among 11 possibles for the fillies Classic following the confirmation stage. They are headed by Qipco 1000 Guineas winner Minding. Runner-up in last weekends Irish 1,000 Guineas, she is one of five remaining entries from the Aidan OBrien stable despite the absence of Ballydoyle.OBrien can also call on Even Song, How High The Moon, Seventh Heaven and Somehow. There is another potential Irish challenger in Jim Bolgers Turret Rocks, who was sixth behind Minding at Newmarket. The list is completed by Hugo Palmers Architecture, the Ralph Beckett-trained Diamonds Pour Moi, Harlequeen from Mick Channons stable and Australian Queen who David Elsworth is hoping can cause an upset. The Newmarket handlers last runner in the Epsom Downs Classic, Something Exciting, finished second to Eswarah in 2005, while he also sent out Mighty Flutter to be third at odds of 66/1 in the 1984 Derby.Australian Queen, a Lingfield Park maiden winner in February, has made two appearances on turf, coming home eighth in the Pretty Polly Stakes at Newmarket on May 1 and fifth, one place behind Harlequeen in the Group Two Musidora Stakes at York 11 days later.Elsworth commented: I thought Australian Queen ran well in the Musidora Stakes. It was only her second start on turf and she is mentally a big, backward filly - she is a slow learner. So Mi Dar won by four lengths that day andd we were just over five lengths further back.dddddddddddd She fell out of the stalls and got involved coming up the straight. She will come on a ton for that, but she needs to. Something Exciting was a lot more precocious whereas this filly was very backward. We ran Australian Queen on the All-Weather to teach her to race and she didnt handle the bend when she won at Lingfield Park - she nearly went over to the jumps course. In the Pretty Polly Stakes, we dropped her in and they didnt go a great gallop. She travelled well for most of the race but was found wanting when they kicked for home because she wasnt switched on mentally. She is a good filly, who is improving rapidly, and there is only one Oaks, so we are going to give it a go.Elsworth and owner Jeff Smith are also set to be represented at the Investec Derby Festival by Australians Queen illustrious half-sister Arabian Queen, who is due to run in the Group One Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Cup (Sponsored by Investec) on Investec Derby Day.The four-year-old filly beat last years Investec Derby hero Golden Horn when a 50/1 chance in the Group One Juddmonte International at York in August and went down by a length to Usherette on her seasonal return in the Group Two Dahlia Stakes at Newmarket on May 1.Elsworth added: I thought Arabian Queen ran a storming race in the Dahlia Stakes. We felt that she might improve 7lb to 10lb for the race but she ran so well that I am not sure if she can improve that much! She goes round Epsom, having won the Princess Elizabeth Stakes there last year, and Postponed will frighten a few off. Its an encounter that we are looking forward to.
