Zara Tindall has underlined her desire and determination to feature in the Great Britain selection shake-up for this summers Rio Olympics. Former world champion Tindall returns to four-star eventing at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials - which start on Thursday - with her London 2012 team silver medal-winning ride High Kingdom. The 15-year-old gelding missed almost all of last season after suffering a freak stable accident just before dressage at the Rolex Kentucky event in the States. It means the horse has still to qualify for Rio, although that should be achieved at Badminton if Tindall and High Kingdom go anywhere near their usual level of performance.I would love to go to another Olympics, said Tindall, the Queens second-eldest grandchild. Zara Tindall and GB team-mates (L-R) Mary King, Nicola Wilson, William Fox-Pitt and Kristina Cook show off their silver medals won at London 2012 I am very lucky to have gone to London. When we finished there, the next one seemed like forever away. Its the place to be. It is where you want to be, with the rest of the worlds sport. It is a unique championship and to be able to represent your country there is phenomenal.I have got to have good qualifying, and it is also about having a good result. It would be amazing to go, and it is something we are all working towards, but it is competition by competition. I am really looking forward to it. I havent been here for a couple of years, and it is always nice to have a horse that is able to run at four-star level. There are so many in the frame for Rio but at the end of the day, if you dont get enough consistent results, you are not going to go anyway. Pippa Funnell misses out at Badminton this year Tindall, 34, will be among the leading British challengers chasing a Badminton top prize of £80,000, although this years event is notable for the absence through various reasons of defending champion William Fox-Pitt, three-timewinner Pippa Funnell and New Zealands former world number one Andrew Nicholson. In terms of the Rio picture, a considerable focus will be on British riders like Tindall, Shropshire-based 2009 Badminton winner Oliver Townend, plus 2015 European Championship campaigners Nicola Wilson, Gemma Tattersall and Laura Collett. The British selectors are due to announce a four-strong team for Rio in early July. With the amount of money given to players by their clubs these days, it is a wonder that so many of those teams allow the sport to continue to take away many of their assets so they can play for a different team in the middle of their season. Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly said Saturday night he would speak with Fighting Irish defensive lineman Jerry Tillery, who nudged USC running back AcaCedric Ware helmet with his cleat while he was down and stomped on the foot of USC offensive lineman Zach Banner.Ware was down after being hit by safety Nicco Fertitta, resulting in a targeting penalty and Fertittas ejection. Officials saw only the second incident, which came in the fourth quarter, and flagged Tillery for unsportsmanlike conduct.USC offensive tackle Chad Wheeler?confronted Tillery after the incident with Ware.I just saw an injured, vulnerable player. That couldve made it 10 times worse if it had some oomph to it, Wheeler said, according to the Los Angeles Times.Banner summed up the Trojans feelings with a reference to Tillerys jersey: [No.] 99 is dirty.Video and GIFs of Tillerys actions immediately went viral.I did not [see the plays], Kelly said. I know he got a personal foul penalty, andd I subsequently took him out of the game.dddddddddddd I had a conversation with him. Any time a player has a personal foul penalty, I pull them out and have a conversation with them. I did that with Jerry, but I did not see [the plays].Accountability is built within any program. Jerry has to be accountable for his actions every single day. Jerry is a good kid, and if he made a mistake well hold him accountable for that mistake. Well take a look at it.Tillery was not made available to the media after Notre Dames 45-27 loss to USC, which wrapped up the Fighting Irishs season at 4-8.You just cant do stupid things like that, Notre Dame defensive lineman Jarron Jones said.
