THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. --?Los Angeles Rams defensive end Robert Quinn watched practice in sweatpants and a beanie late Tuesday afternoon, one day after being in the hospital with a non-football-related illness.Quinn was discharged early on Tuesday and was at the team facility for morning meetings. Rams coach Jeff Fisher didnt provide specifics on Quinns condition, but said they got good results back and that he will be day-to-day with regard to playing in Sundays home game against the Miami Dolphins. It was an unfortunate situation and you never want to hear that, so its good to see him back on the sideline, healthy and doing well, Rams linebacker Mark Barron said.It felt good, defensive tackle Michael Brockers added, because a lot of information was kind of held back, and people didnt really want to start a panic or whatever. It was good to see him. He was all smiles; he was really up to speed for a guy who was just hospitalized.Quinn played in 83 percent of the defensive snaps during a 9-6 win over the New York Jets on Sunday, an uncommonly high number that was partly due to fellow defensive end Eugene Sims going through concussion protocol. On the bus ride back from LAX late Sunday night, he sat behind Fisher and went over some film with him. But Quinn checked himself into a local hospital shortly thereafter. Fisher said it was highly unlikely that Quinns condition was related to the benign brain tumor he was diagnosed with in high school, which caused severe headaches and prompted doctors to drain excess fluid from his skull. But his teammates were concerned.I know Robs history, Brockers said. I know about the tumor and stuff, so I was really scared that something came back or whatever, and wanted to pray for him and let him know that everything was going to be OK. But at the same time, I just didnt know enough to understand the situation. It was good to just see him this morning and talk to him.Quinn, the 14th overall pick out of North Carolina in 2011, racked up 40 sacks from 2012 to 14, third most in the NFL during that time. The 26-year-old played in eight games last season before ultimately undergoing back surgery and has played in seven of the Rams nine games this year, compiling two sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass deflections.Barron didnt notice any difference on Tuesday.Hes Robert Quinn, Barron said. Hes doing what he always does. To see him back, after his situation, its good. Cheap Shoes From China . Hes viewed as the long-term face of the franchise, but Penrith captain Matt Moylan says hes in no rush to re-sign with the club before his contract expires at the end of next season. The Panthers star had been in talks with club officials on a contract extension earlier this year that wouldve seen Moylan become the first NRL player signed through to the 2021 season. But while the Penrith No.1 is intent on remaining a Panther, negotiations have since stalled.Obviously I want to stay but nothings happened of yet. Im not in a rush, Moylan told AAP.Being captain here, its somewhere I want to stick around. But I havent really thought about it to be honest. Im just playing footy and Im still signed for next year.Asked if there had been any developments on previous talks, he said: No, nothing. But after not making his NRL debut until he was 22, Moylan is also believed to be interested in testing his market value, which has skyrocketed after breaking into the NSW State of Origin team this year.He joins a star-studded list of fullbacks that come off contract at the end of the 2017 season, including Ben Barba, Darius Boyd, Josh Dugan, James Tedesco and Tom Trbojevic.Cronulla talent Valentine Holmes will also be highly sought after for clubs, who are expected to see the salary cap raised to over $7 million for the first time in league history by the 2018 season.ddddddddddddThe Panthers have been one of the leagues biggest spenders this winter, splashing the cash for North Queensland premiership-winner and incumbent Kangaroo James Tamou on a four-year deal. The club have also tied down first-grade regulars Nathan Cleary, James Fisher-Harris, Leilani Latu, Josh Mansour, Trent Merrin, Peter Wallace and Isaah Yeo for at least another two years.Tamou, Latu, and Merrin are three of just five players in the league, along with Canterbury pair David Klemmer and Moses Mbye, that own deals until the end of the 2020 season.Merrin, who re-signed with the club a further two years despite being less than one year into his current contract, urged Moylan to base his decision on his happiness instead of money. If the moneys great and youre not happy, then theres no point doing it, Merrin said.If youre going to sign a long-term contract, its got to be based on your happiness and the challenges that are going to make you a better person and player.Moyzas a great leader here and we all look up to him as a player and a person. Hes definitely a Penrith boy from the start. Wed love to see him stay at the club for sure. ' ' '
